Graham brings to the table a lifetime of experience and a wealth of knowledge having had a very accomplished career in the Building and Construction industry.
Graham graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying, was elected to Chartered status in 1991, commenced in client-side Project Management just on 30 years ago as an employee and then Director of a consultancy business, before moving to a leading Industrial Property Trust, heading up the Capital Works Project Management Team and landing into a Senior Project Manager role within the Development Division.
Graham joined the Plan PM team as an Associate Director to provide lead project manager capacity on major developments and Capex projects, as required.
The experience gained providing property related advice during his years in private practice, combined with the broad technical base of his Building Surveying background, has provided Graham with a well-rounded understanding of construction and property related matters.
Graham’s involvement has spanned the whole life cycle of buildings, from feasibility, planning, procurement, construction, management and refurbishment, through to disposal and end of lease obligations.
Recent experience has been gained working as the interface between customer fitout and base build contractors on a large multi-level industrial development for Amazon, including the integration the Amazon’s state-of-the-art automation system across all four levels.
The ability to facilitate cooperation with all parties, often with competing agendas, is a strong element to Graham’s approach, as well as the ability to understand and administer complex Development and Construction Agreements.
