This development involved a combination of a new build and refurbishment of an existing vacant warehouse, that is adjoining an operating Storage King facility (same warehouse building). This development yielded 8,600sqm of NLA, across 571 individual storage units, sitting across 2 levels in 2 buildings on a 15,206sqm site.
The construction works were approved via a number of different planning pathways, facilitating the fastest possible commencement on site.
- An initial CDC and an amended CDC for the main works components of both the refurbishment and new build, including fully compliant services upgrades requiring no performance solutions.
- A signage and façade works DA to reclad the entire façade, approve new signage and realign the internal services with the building’s new externals.
Plan Project Management was engaged to deliver the construction phase and concurrent detail design phase, managing all stakeholders including the tenant, in a live environment.
