Plan Project Management was appointed by Aeria Management Group in early 2024 to manage the design and delivery of a new speculative aircraft hangar at Bankstown Airport.
Following a competitive tender process in late 2024, Mainbrace was engaged as Principal Contractor. Approvals to commence were secured in May 2025 from the Airport Building Control and Aviation Authorities, following the completion of detailed design.
The new $5 million facility will accommodate two civil jet aircraft within a 1,256sqm hangar, supported by two levels of office accommodation and external car parking. An additional 1,000sqm of external apron will provide aircraft standing space.
