Mirvac – Alpha Badminton Integrated Fitout

As part of our broader engagement on Mirvac’s Switchyard Industrial Estate development, our services were also extended to encompass the integrated fitout of Alpha Badminton’s purpose-built facility within Warehouse 6.

Our involvement included the procurement of a DA Modification for external alterations, including relocation of the main entrance, façade adjustments, and reconfiguration of the internal layout to accommodate store areas, office and amenities. The DA Modification also captured the removal of the internal mezzanine and recessed loading docks to optimise the facility for its new use. Additionally, Plan PM also procured a Change of Use DA was also required to enable the operation of an indoor recreational facility (Badminton Centre).

Plan PM led the design management, pricing & construction phase services for the integrated fitout. Through close collaboration with both Mirvac and Alpha Badminton, we successfully delivered a highly customised sporting facility, transforming a standard warehouse into a fit-for-purpose recreational venue. This project demonstrates our expertise in managing change-of-use developments and coordinating tenancy fitouts that extend beyond traditional industrial and logistics uses.
