About
As part of our broader engagement on Mirvac’s Switchyard Industrial Estate development, our services were also extended to encompass the integrated fitout of Nippon Food Supplies’ purpose-built facility across Warehouses 9 & 10 (combined tenancy).
Our involvement included the procurement of a DA Modification to enable removal of the warehouse intertenancy wall, construction of a new 5 °C chiller room and a –20 °C freezer room, as well as installation of racking across ambient, chiller & freezer spaces. The cold chain provisioning works encompassed freezer slab construction, an external cooling tower plant, base building structural and services augmentation.
Plan PM led the design management, base building coordination and construction phase delivery, working in close collaboration with Nippon Food Supplies’ Japan-based stakeholders. To facilitate this, a translator was present for all meetings, ensuring alignment across technical requirements and project outcomes.
This project highlights our expertise in seamlessly integrating highly specialised cold-chain tenancy fitouts within a broader industrial estate development, while also navigating the complexities of international stakeholder engagement.
